Twenty years of endless fighting had finally come to an end. America's troops were coming home and we were done. At this point in the war ending America felt the same, they just wanted the war done and over with. Nobody was shocked and nobody cared. After the war ended, there were still troops that were going home. Some were heading home in boats that would only fit ten to fifteen people. In which the boats would have thrity to fourty people. Many of the people who left Vietnam probaly had Post Tramatic Stress Disorder. As the soldiers made it home, they weren't treated very well. Most of the Veterans from Vietnam were living on th streets, and nobody cared. Shortly after the war, there was a grey marble wall that was deticated to all of the lost veterans who served in Vietnam. There was and still is a group that is searching for lost, killled or missing soldiers from the Vietnam war. Most of the people who supported the Vietnam war back then now realise that there was no point in the war.
